SOLD
Like most of the costumes on this site, this was a one-of-a-kind piece hand crafted by an Egyptian artisan. THIS COSTUME CAN NOT BE ORDERED. Will there be more? Individual artisans will occasionally repeat designs, but never exactly and rarely in the same color. It's impossible to say if or when these will show up or in what size or color. YOU CAN'T ORDER THIS COSTUME. Thank you.
Made in Egypt. Gorgeous fabric, the color isn't quite pink enough that I would call it true fushia, leans a little towards purple. Holographic metallic, large scale snakeskin pattern. Stretch (though not quite as much as lycra, and is fairly lightweight). And zowie! Very sexy design (I have same design, different color & beading pattern, thought it might be a little bare for some but every time I've performed in it WOMEN have come up to me saying how beautiful it is).
Except for edging of silver glass tumbled (smooth) square cut bugle beads (overlapping stitch; skirt top, slit edges but not hem, hip opening edges, all bra edges except back strap, which is elasticized), the silver you see is: real glass rhinestones, curving flat pattern is 1/4" stones (big!), "fringe" is 3mm stones; rhinestone jewelery pieces (small and large stars, all rhinestones with a crystal in the center, and rectangle "buckles" on hip ladder pieces); or individual 10 mm crystal stones. The stones I believe may be acrylic, but they are very high quality. Additional bead embellishments of real shell pieces or beads made to look like, pinkish iridescent, these are with individual 1/4" stones in circular patterns around the 10 mm stones on bra and skirt top.
"Fringe" accents on skirt are each two 6" long rhinestone chains, hanging from within beadwork or, on back, lower tier hanging from 10 mm crystals. 10 mm crystals on centers of each hip ladder piece. The openings inbetween are open (no mesh).
Skirt is meant to be fitted around hips, then flares out in a fairly straight line. Large openings over legs have three long finished (sewn, no raw edges) "ribbons" (they are more strap-like in heft), ending with oval piece. Silver glass seed bead small loops, spaced 1/4" to 1/2" apart, down entire length of ribbons. Fully cased 1" elastic around entire top. Pull on, no zipper.
Bra is style made popular by designer Sahar Okasha, (recently heard them described as "upside down U's"). Well made, firm, quite deep but edges fit close to body (on the bodies I've seen them on). Halter strap. Back strap is elasticized for perfect fit.
Accessories: Matching gauntlets with crystal/rhinestones, headband (with crystals and beads).

AFTER reading all info, Email inquiries if possible, it's easier for me to quickly answer emails vs. phone calls. Include number AND name/title of the costume(s) in question. Include ZIP CODE (country if non-USA) if you want shipping cost (just your city won't do it). But if you need to call, no problem: 352-373-4991.
FAQ's & Helpful Info(below)
Q: "I really like costume xyz but it says says "SOLD" or "SOLD OUT". Are there more? Can you email me personally when something like it comes in? Can I order it? Can I order something like it that's not on the website? Can I order costume abc in a size not on the website? "
A: No.
Q:"How do I order?"
A: Read "How To Order". Link to this also on front page.
Q: "Can you hold/reserve a costume for me?"
A: Yes. It's called "Expedited Ordering." You pay the full merchandise cost (without shipping) immediately, without contacting me (of course please do if you have questions about the costume). FIRST read "How To Order" which includes Expedited Ordering.
Q: "I don't understand the measurements you give."
A: Read How to Buy a Costume that fits". Explains my sizing methods and how to measure yourself. Link to this also on front page.
*****************************
Know you want it? Make sure you get it by "Expedited Ordering" - immediately send payment for merchandise amount only and it's yours. You'll then owe for shipping. PLEASE do NOT add extra or try to estimate shipping cost. Read "How To Order" for details, obligations.
Due to recent backlog, processing time (time until your order is shipped) may be from 1 up to 12 business days, though I'm close to being caught up and the 12 days is unlikely.
Need it fast? Send event name/type & date, I'll let you know if it's possible. Email will get you fastest replies.
. Rush charges may apply.
If any question arises, the first person who pays at least the merchandise price in full for a costume gets the costume (must follow up with shipping payment, if paying separately). Asking for shipping cost or asking for a costume to be held or promising you're going to pay do not hold a costume.
Thank you!
